Hạnh is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Da Nang University, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Hạnh can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hạnh has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hạnh would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
