Help Githinji through 6 rounds of treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Likoni Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Githinji was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Likoni Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Githinji is 58, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Likoni Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,155
