Help Gauri through 4 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Mumbai Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Gauri was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at the Mumbai Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Gauri is 45, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mumbai Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $950
• Transport to the Mumbai Oncology Institute: $180
• Household costs while unable to work: $270
