Help Fajar restart a neighborhood bakery in Kediri after a long illness and repossession
Fajar has run a neighborhood bakery for three years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Kediri. In June, a long illness and repossession took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $380
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $35
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Fajar?
Thank you. If you're in Kediri I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Nice so I could bring a meal
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Fajar.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. replacing a commercial oven is the biggest at $380. Ask me anything else.
Good luck. Small businesses are the heart of Kediri. Hope you're open again soon. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Kediri
Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Sending strength. Hope the shop reopens soon. Put this on a community board in Rajkot this morning. Love from Rajkot
