Help Fabrice get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
A marines veteran in Saint-Denis needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with a traumatic brain injury.
🇫🇷 Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France1,318 views
I served twelve years in the marines and was discharged in 2022 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $1,650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $340
• Training provider fees: $1,050
• Essential household items: $260
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Saint-Denis.
Thinking of you, Fabrice. Hope you get there. All the best.
