Everly was diagnosed with stomach cancer in September. The oncology team at Bronx University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Everly is 50, worked as a bank teller until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bronx University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Bronx University Hospital: $370
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,280

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. transport to Bronx University Hospital is the biggest at $370. Good question.
