I served fourteen years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $4,050. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden. Where the $4,050 goes: • Training provider fees: $2,350 • Housing deposit and first month: $790 • Transport to appointments: $380 • Essential household items: $530 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Étienne
