Eliana has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in civil engineering; a $5,300 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Eliana is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Tampa University, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,300.
The registrar has said Eliana can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Eliana has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Eliana would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Eliana isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $5,300 goes:
• Final term tuition: $3,550
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,550
• Textbooks and materials: $200
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
