Help Eleanor restart a phone repair counter in Dundee after the demolition of the market
Eleanor has run a phone repair counter for three years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $3,700 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a phone repair counter in Dundee. In November, the demolition of the market took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $2,600
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $420
• Shop repairs and licensing: $420
• Working capital for the first month: $260
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, Eleanor. Hope the shop reopens soon. Please keep us posted. Blessings
You're not alone, Eleanor. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Dar es Salaam but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Dar es Salaam.
Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Toulon this morning. Take care.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Eleanor.
Sure. The biggest one is replacing a soldering station and testing tools, $2,600. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Thinking of you, Eleanor. Hope the shop reopens soon. Wish I lived closer to Madrid so I could bring a meal. Take care.
