Help Ekkachai through 4 rounds of treatment for stage 2 breast cancer
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ekkachai was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in September. The oncology team at the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Ekkachai is 45, worked as a farmer until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,750
• Scans and lab work: $460
• Transport to the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute: $280
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $180
• Household costs while unable to work: $380

Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Chiang Mai.
