Help Bola get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Bola served twelve years in the engineering corps; $400 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

I served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $400.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $400 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $70
• Housing deposit and first month: $230
• Essential household items: $100
With deep gratitude,
Bola

hope this works out for you. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
You're not alone, Bola. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Bonny.
Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Guadalajara so I could bring a meal. All the best.
