Bharath is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Bharath was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in May. The oncology team at the Mumbai Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Bharath is 55, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mumbai Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $185
• Household costs while unable to work: $360
