Ana was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at Buenos Aires Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Ana is 45, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Buenos Aires Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
