Harsh needs my motorbike repaired to get back to work in London
Without my motorbike Harsh can't work; a $1,750 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $1,150
• Labor charges: $260
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $145
• Towing and inspection: $195
Thanks for reading all this.

So sorry you're going through this, Harsh. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Kampala!
Thinking of you and your family. Hope the shop reopens soon. We're a small family in Los Angeles but we're thinking of you. Love from Los Angeles.
Wishing you peace, Harsh. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
Best of luck, Harsh. Looking forward to the next update.
