Get Weston back on the road: my school-run minibus repair fund
Weston's my school-run minibus is Weston's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $1,750.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 3 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,400
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $220
• Towing and inspection: $130
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there, Weston. Your post was clear and honest. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Thinking of you and your family, Weston. Hope you make a strong comeback. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of New York.
