Get Vikas back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Without my ride-share car Vikas can't work; a $100 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 3 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $100 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• Labor charges: $40
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this, Vikas. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update.
sending love, Vikas. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Narayanganj donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Thane.
