Get Todd back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Todd drives for a living in Brampton, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $1,100
• Labor charges: $240
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $165
• Towing and inspection: $95
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
