Get Paloma back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Paloma drives for a living in Girona, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 7 weeks.
🇪🇸 Girona, Catalonia, Spain1,525 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $930
• Labor charges: $150
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• Towing and inspection: $60
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
