Get Paisley back on the road: my school-run minibus repair fund
Paisley drives for a living in Los Angeles, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 12 weeks.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,777 views
I make my living with my school-run minibus. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,450
• Labor charges: $240
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $230
• Towing and inspection: $80
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
