Get Osamu back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Osamu's my delivery van is Osamu's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,550.

I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,150
• Labor charges: $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Towing and inspection: $115
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Osamu
Quick update: $100 raised so far (6%). I made the first payment toward labor charges. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($50 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
