Get Okello back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Without my ride-share car Okello can't work; a $150 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $105
• Labor charges: $15
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5
Thanks for reading all this.

I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Yonkers.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Okello.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. fuel pump replacement (parts) is the biggest at $105. Thanks, that means a lot.
Thanks for sharing this, Okello. Hope the shop reopens soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.
How is Okello doing now?
Hope it all works out, Okello. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
