Get Okello back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Without my food truck Okello can't work; a $215 repair would put him back on the road.
🇹🇿 Mwanza, Tanzania444 views
I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $215. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $215 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $160
• Labor charges: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Okello!
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. radiator and cooling system replacement (parts) is the biggest at $160. Ask me anything else.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My husband and I read this together.
Hang in there, Okello. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Mumbai
