Get Mavis back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Mavis drives for a living in Kumasi, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $120
• Towing and inspection: $10
• Labor charges: $70
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Rooting for you, Mavis. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Thinking of you, Mavis. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Kumasi.
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
