Get Mathilde back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Mathilde's my tuk-tuk is Mathilde's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,350.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $870
• Labor charges: $230
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Towing and inspection: $40
