Get Masaru back on the road: my motorbike repair fund
Masaru drives for a living in Tokyo, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇯🇵 Tokyo, Japan2,173 views
I make my living with my motorbike. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $520
• Labor charges: $350
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

You're not alone, Masaru. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Masaru. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update
Thanks for sharing this, Masaru. Hope you make a strong comeback.
sending good thoughts, Masaru. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Regensburg
