Get Logan back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Logan drives for a living in Worcester, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇺🇸 Worcester, Massachusetts, United States1,626 views
I make my living with my food truck. 8 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Labor charges: $400
• Towing and inspection: $105
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,245
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
