Get Lester back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Lester's my food truck is Lester's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $1,000.

I make my living with my food truck. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $490
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $175
• Towing and inspection: $115
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope things get better soon, Lester. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My neighbor in Rome donated after I showed her your page.
Good luck, Lester. Small businesses are the heart of Bakersfield. Hope you're open again soon. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
