Get Jorge back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Jorge's my ride-share car is Jorge's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $500.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $500 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $340
• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $75
• Towing and inspection: $40
Thank you for reading my story.

Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Jorge?
Thank you. If you're in Coyoacán I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Coyoacán
Thinking of you and your family, Jorge. Small businesses are the heart of Coyoacán. Hope you're open again soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Milan.
