Get Irene back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Irene drives for a living in Rosario, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 12 weeks.
🇦🇷 Santa Fe, Argentina1,010 views
I make my living with my taxi. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $30
• gearbox replacement (parts): $185
• Labor charges: $85
With deep gratitude,
Irene

Wanted to say thank you properly. 17% funded and the plan for towing and inspection is now scheduled.
