Get Ian back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund

Without my ride-share car Ian can't work; a $1,850 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $1,850 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,250 • Labor charges: $280 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $320 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Ian
