Get Ethan back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Ethan drives for a living in Ottawa, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $950 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $530
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $280
• Towing and inspection: $140
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you and your family, Ethan. Hope the shop reopens soon. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from St. Louis.
Rooting for you, Ethan. Hope this works out for you.
