Get Esperanza back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Esperanza drives for a living in Miami, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 6 weeks.
🇺🇸 United States1,798 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Labor charges: $290
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $900
• Towing and inspection: $110
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Esperanza?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about labor charges, advice is welcome too. Good question.
Good luck, Esperanza. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Oakland donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Miami.
Thinking of you. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Fort Worth
hope it all works out, Esperanza. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
