Get Elijah back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Without my ride-share car Elijah can't work; a $2,300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,450
• Labor charges: $300
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $350
• Towing and inspection: $200
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Elijah
Good news. Because of your gifts ($113 in total) I made the first payment toward labor charges. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
