Get Ekow back on the road: my motorbike repair fund

Without my motorbike Ekow can't work; a $150 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $150 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $105 • Towing and inspection: $10 • Labor charges: $35 Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ekow

    • Fuel pump replacement (parts) is $105 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Appreciate you taking the time.

  • Stay strong, Ekow. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
