Sang-hoon, my grandfather, passed away on 16 August after a short illness. He was 34 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sang-hoon to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $2,550 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,600 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $780 • Memorial gathering for the family: $170 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Si-woo

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($652 in total) I made the first payment toward funeral home services and casket. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
