Flood in Phuket: help the Riverside neighborhood rebuild

After the flood, families in the Riverside neighborhood need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

Phuket
The flood hit the Riverside neighborhood on 25 June. My home was one of 16 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall. The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming. Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before. We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy. We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates. Where the $1,050 goes: • Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $350 • Clean water and purification supplies: $230 • Tools and labor for repairs: $470 Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Waraporn

      • Waraporn Rattana LaohakulOwnerAnswer

Bedding, blankets and mattresses is $350 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Let me know if you want more detail.
