Flood in Łódź: help the families of Greenfield Lane rebuild
Neighbors in the families of Greenfield Lane are rebuilding after the flood; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The flood hit the families of Greenfield Lane on 18 July. My home was one of 81 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,550
• Clean water and purification supplies: $360
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $340
• Food parcels for displaced families: $490
• Tools and labor for repairs: $610
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

hang in there, Bartosz. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Depok!
thanks for sharing this, Bartosz. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Łódź.
Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Giza.
Looking forward to the next update. My husband and I read this together. Love from Québec.
