Flood in Bristol: help the families of Northside Lane rebuild
After the flood, families in the families of Northside Lane need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the families of Northside Lane on 11 June. My home was one of 38 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,450
• Clean water and purification supplies: $360
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $420
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,050
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,120
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
