Fighting thyroid cancer: help Rakesh afford treatment in Mumbai
Supporting Rakesh through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to the Mumbai Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.

Rakesh was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at the Mumbai Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Rakesh is 49, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mumbai Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rakesh.
Chemotherapy and medication not covered is $830 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
