Fighting stomach cancer: help Mathilda afford treatment in Regensburg
Mathilda is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mathilda was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at the Regensburg Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Mathilda is 26, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Regensburg Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $610
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Transport to the Regensburg Oncology Institute: $640
