Fighting stomach cancer: help Diya afford treatment in Bengaluru
Diya is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Diya was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Bengaluru Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Diya is 44, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bengaluru Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $900
• Scans and lab work: $140
• Transport to Bengaluru Cancer Centre: $140
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60
• Household costs while unable to work: $310
