Fighting stomach cancer: help Bambang afford treatment in Jakarta
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Jakarta Regional Medical Center; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Bambang was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Jakarta Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Bambang is 50, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jakarta Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000
• Scans and lab work: $260
• Transport to Jakarta Regional Medical Center: $170
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125
• Household costs while unable to work: $245
