Zain was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at Mardan University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Zain is 26, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mardan University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
