Seville
Ana was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in February. The oncology team at the Seville Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Ana is 30, worked as a bus conductor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Seville Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $5,100 goes: • Scans and lab work: $1,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480 • Transport to the Seville Oncology Institute: $540 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,080 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Mauricio
