Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Yewande afford treatment in Badagry
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Badagry Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Yewande was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at Badagry Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Yewande is 29, worked as a construction supervisor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Badagry Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $560
• Scans and lab work: $115
• Transport to Badagry Cancer Centre: $125
