Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Rahima afford treatment in Cox's Bazar
12 rounds of treatment are planned at the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Rahima was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Rahima is 36, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $250 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $120
• Transport to the Cox's Bazar Oncology Institute: $50
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rahima.
Sure. The biggest one is household costs while unable to work, $120. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
Stay strong. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Newcastle
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Cox's Bazar
Thank you. If you're in Cox's Bazar I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for asking.
so sorry you're going through this, Anisur. Hope the doctors have good news. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Good luck, Anisur. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
