8 rounds of treatment are planned at the Udaipur Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Manoj was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September. The oncology team at the Udaipur Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Manoj is 55, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Udaipur Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,150 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $620 • Scans and lab work: $220 • Transport to the Udaipur Oncology Institute: $100 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55 • Household costs while unable to work: $155 Glad we found this place. - Ramesh
