Fighting prostate cancer: help Giulia afford treatment in Latina
10 rounds of treatment are planned at the Latina Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Giulia was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at the Latina Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Giulia is 56, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Latina Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $550
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $500
