Vino was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in September. The oncology team at Bandung Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Vino is 57, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bandung Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,550
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
• Transport to Bandung Regional Medical Center: $140
• Scans and lab work: $170
