Fighting non-Hodgkin lymphoma: help Ruben afford treatment in Eindhoven
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Eindhoven Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ruben was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Eindhoven Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Ruben is 34, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Eindhoven Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,200
• Scans and lab work: $610
• Transport to Eindhoven Cancer Centre: $610
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,630
